Arts & HumanityARTS & HUMANITY, The Art Institute of Washington's new online journal for the arts, culture, poetry, politics, scholarship, and action is now accepting submissions!

LEVEL 1: REFEREED ESSAYS
700- to 1,000-word (plus citations) scholarly essays. Submissions that pass the Senior Editor's review will be blind-reviewed by the Editorial Committee.

LEVEL 2: CREATIVE WRITING
Poems (maximum 3 per submission); book, movie, game, music, design, and culinary reviews; critiques; editorial and opinion pieces; satire, articles, and short stories (up to 500-words).

LEVEL 3: ART & ETCETERA
Graphic design; advertising; fashion; interior design; photography; drawing; illustration; cartooning (comic-strip, single-panel, and editorial); game; animation; film; etcetera!

All written submissions (LEVELS 1 and 2) must be delivered in the form of typed, 12-point, double-space (except poetry), hard-copy.

All art submissions (LEVEL 3) must be delivered on high-res CD and/or DVD.

Deliver submissions to: Charlie Lawing, Academic Affairs office (room 1008). Name, telephone number, and email address must be clearly included on each submission.
